Villa Escondida Villa Escondida is a sparkling new bed & breakfast located on 10 Avenue between Adolfo Rosado Salas and 3rd Steet. Those of you familiar with Cozumel, will recognize that area as a highly desirable location. The guesthouse is just two blocks from the ocean, only one block from the central plaza area and an easy walk to restaurants, shopping, dive shops, the museum and more. Villa Escondida is a small, intimate, family owned and operated guesthouse. The owners, David (Canadian) and Magda (Mexican) and their two children have lived on the island for 18 years. David and Magda are valuable resources should you want some insiders' suggestions on activities, restaurants or island information in general. In addition, David and Magda will pamper you with delicious homemade breakfasts such as banana pancakes, chilaquiles, eggs rancheros, enchiladas or, if you wish, more standard fare such as omelettes, scrambled or fried eggs. Light eaters can choose cereal or yogurt. In addition, a variety of bakery-fresh breads and rolls are served along with fresh fruit and freshly squeezed orange juice. For early risers, coffee and sweet breads are available starting at 6:30. Magda and David are also available to make arrangements for you for tours, fishing trips, spa services, laundry and dry cleaning. Villa Escondida offers four guestrooms, two of which have king beds and two have two single beds. All rooms have private baths, internet connection (bring your laptop) and views of the lovely garden and pool/patio area. The patio is furnished with tables, chairs and hammocks; poolside you'll find lounge chairs and an outdoor shower. An indoor lounge area has a refrigerator, lunch counter and dining table. In this area is satellite TV, DVD player and a library of pocket books and a variety of games.   Purified bottled water is provided and maid service is included (every day but Sunday).
