Villa Selva means Jungle House in Spanish and lush tropical palms and plants provide the perfect setting for your vacation. Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! Inside and out you'll find a jungle paradise. Exotic palms and flowering plants thrive in the warm Mexican sun; look closely and you'll notice that one of the trees has been fashioned into the shape of a large bird. The jungle theme is carried throughout the inside of the house with original oil paintings of exotic and tropical animals, fabrics with leopard, giraffe and zebra prints as well as wood carvings, masks and other assorted "jungle" artwork. Villa Selva is completely furnished and features a large swimming pool and patio area in an exotic garden setting. Living room, dining room and kitchen overlook the private backyard. You'll spend hours on the rear patio or lounging by the pool. Pool/garden area is shared with the new 2 BR, 2.5 bath villa called "Jungle Dream." Jungle Dream is a totally separate house over 150 feet from the Villa Selva. There are two bedrooms, both with queen size beds and air conditioning. One of the bedrooms has leopard print bedspread. animal print curtains and zebra valance; this bedroom has a private bath. Second bedroom has leopard/leaf bedspread and giraffe print valance. This bedroom uses the a second bath just off the hall. Queen sleep sofa in the living area and a smaller sofa provide additional sleeping areas. You can access the backyard patio/pool area from the door off the living room/dining room. The kitchen is fully furnished with full size refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave and all the utensils and dishes that you'll need during your stay. Purified water is provided during your stay and the maid will make sure that it is replenished as needed. The jungle house has satellite TV, DVD & VCR with selection of videos, CD/tapeplayer (bring your favorite music!). You can easily seat 6 people at the dining room table, plus there are bar stools at the snack bar in the kitchen. The Selva is fully air conditioned and there are ceiling fans throughout the house as well. Of course, the backyard garden/pool/patio area is one of the best places to spend your idle hours. A large palapa (thatched roof) patio provides a cool shaded area overlooking the large garden. Enjoy a refreshing dip in the large swimming pool, relax in a hammock or sip a cold one poolside . . . you won't want to go home at the end of your stay!
